UPL Apache is a broad-spectrum systemic insecticide combining Fipronil (15%) and Flonicamid (15%) in a Water Dispersible Granule (WDG) formulation. It effectively targets a range of sucking and chewing pests, making it suitable for crops like cotton, paddy, vegetables, fruits, and nuts.​

• Mode of Action:

  • Fipronil: Disrupts GABA-gated chloride channels in insects’ nervous systems, leading to paralysis and death.

  • Flonicamid: Acts as a selective feeding blocker, causing pests to cease feeding and eventually die.

• Systemic and Translaminar Action: Ensures thorough protection by moving within plant tissues.

• Target Pests: Aphids, jassids, thrips, whiteflies, mealybugs, bollworms, brown plant hoppers, green plant hoppers, stem borers, and leaf folders.​

Usage Guidelines

• Dosage: 160 grams per acre.

• Application Method: Foliar spray; apply when pests are first observed.

• Application Frequency: Two applications with a 7–10 day interval between treatments.

• Precautions:

  • Avoid application near water bodies to prevent harm to aquatic organisms.

  • Do not apply if rain is expected within 4 hours to ensure efficacy.

  • Wear appropriate protective equipment during mixing and application.​
