Mode of Action

Dhanuzine functions by inhibiting photosynthesis in susceptible plant species. It can be applied both as a pre-emergence herbicide (immediately after sowing) and as a post-emergence herbicide up to the 2–3 leaf stage of weeds. This dual application approach helps in preventing the germination of weed seeds and controlling early-stage weed growth.

Dosage & Application

• Recommended Dosage: 300–400 grams per acre

• Application Timing:

  • Maize: Immediately after sowing (pre-emergence)

  • Sugarcane: Pre-emergence on weed-free soil

• Method of Application: Foliage spraying using appropriate equipment to ensure uniform coverage
