Bharat Parakh is a non-selective, contact herbicide formulated with Paraquat Dichloride 24% SL, developed by Bharat Certis AgriScience Ltd. It is designed for effective control of a broad spectrum of broadleaf and grassy weeds across various crops.
Availability: In Stock
Parakh is a fast-acting, non-selective contact herbicide that targets and controls a broad spectrum of weeds. It is absorbed by the foliage and translocated within the plant, making it effective for both pre-plant and post-emergence applications. Parakh is particularly suitable for conservation and no-till farming systems, as it controls the foliage parts of weeds while leaving the roots intact, thereby preventing soil erosion.
Broad-Spectrum Control: Effectively manages a wide range of broadleaf and grassy weeds.
Rapid Action: Provides quick knockdown of weeds, minimizing competition with crops.
Soil Conservation: Ideal for no-till systems, as it controls weeds without disturbing the soil structure.
Versatile Application: Suitable for use in various crops, including tea, potato, cotton, rubber, coffee, rice, wheat, maize, grapes, and apple.
Rainfastness: Absorbed quickly by plants, allowing for effective weed control even if it rains shortly after application.
Formulation: Soluble Liquid (SL) for easy mixing and application.
Mode of Action: Contact herbicide that disrupts photosynthesis in green plant tissues.
Application Methods: Can be applied as a foliar spray for post-emergence weed control or as a pre-plant application in minimum tillage systems.
Compatibility: Can be integrated into various crop management programs.
Dosage and Application Guidelines:
Tea: Apply 0.32–1.7 liters per acre as a post-emergence directed inter-row application at the 2–3 leaf stage of weeds. For season-long control, use 2.5–5.0 liters initially, followed by 1 liter for subsequent spot applications.
Potato: Use 0.8 liters per acre as a post-emergence overall or inter-row application at 5–10% emergence.
Cotton: Apply 0.5–0.8 liters per acre as a post-emergence directed inter-row application at the 2–3 leaf stage of weeds.
Rubber: Use 0.6–1 liter per acre as a post-emergence directed inter-row application at the 2–3 leaf stage of weeds.
Coffee: Apply 400 ml per acre to control various weed species.
Rice (Pre-Plant): Apply 500–1400 ml per acre before sowing/transplanting to control standing weeds.
Wheat (Pre-Plant): Use 1.7 liters per acre before sowing to manage grassy and broadleaf weeds.
Maize (Pre-Plant): Apply 320–800 ml per acre before sowing to control specific weed species.
Grapes: Use 800 ml per acre as a post-emergence directed inter-row application at the 2–3 leaf stage of weeds.
Apple: Apply 1.3 liters per acre as a post-emergence directed inter-row application at the 2–3 leaf stage of weeds.
Note: Always follow label instructions and consult with agricultural experts to determine the appropriate dosage and application method for your specific crop and weed situation.
