Dhanuka Dhanuzine is a selective herbicide formulated with Atrazine 50% WP, belonging to the Chloro-triazines group. It is designed to control a broad spectrum of narrow-leaf and broadleaf weeds in crops such as maize and sugarcane.
Availability: In Stock
Dhanuzine functions by inhibiting photosynthesis in susceptible plant species. It can be applied both as a pre-emergence herbicide (immediately after sowing) and as a post-emergence herbicide up to the 2–3 leaf stage of weeds. This dual application approach helps in preventing the germination of weed seeds and controlling early-stage weed growth.
Recommended Dosage: 300–400 grams per acre
Application Timing:
Maize: Immediately after sowing (pre-emergence)
Sugarcane: Pre-emergence on weed-free soil
Method of Application: Foliage spraying using appropriate equipment to ensure uniform coverage
Selective Herbicide: Targets weeds without harming the main crop
Dual Application: Suitable for both pre-emergence and early post-emergence stages
Broad-Spectrum Control: Effective against a wide range of weed species
Enhanced Crop Yield: By controlling weed competition, it promotes healthier crop growth and potentially higher yields
