Duiron is a herbicide containing Diuron 80% WP, developed by Insecticides (India) Ltd. It is designed for pre-emergence or early post-emergence control of a broad spectrum of annual grass and broadleaf weeds in various crops.

Duiron is recommended for use in the following crops and areas:
Crops: Sugarcane, cotton, cereals, maize, sorghum, asparagus, tree fruits, bush fruits, citrus fruits, vines, olives, pineapples, bananas, peppermint, alfalfa, forage legumes, perennial grass seed crops, oil palms, rubber.
Non-Crop Areas: Industrial sites, railways, and other non-agricultural areas where total vegetation control is desired.
Dosage:
Per Hectare: 2–4 kg
Per Acre: 800–1600 grams
Method:
Mix the recommended quantity of Duiron with water to form a uniform suspension.
Apply uniformly over the soil surface using a knapsack or tractor-mounted sprayer.
Ensure even coverage for optimal weed control.
Timing: Apply before weed emergence or when weeds are in the early growth stages.
Avoid application on sandy or light soils with low organic matter to prevent crop injury.
Do not apply near water bodies to prevent contamination.
Use protective clothing and equipment during application.
