PI Snailkill is a dry pellet molluscicide containing 2.5% Metaldehyde, designed to effectively control snails and slugs in various crops. It works by causing dehydration in pests, providing quick and targeted protection without harming beneficial insects.

Metaldehyde works by contact and ingestion. Upon consumption, it is rapidly hydrolyzed to acetaldehyde, causing the mollusc to produce excess mucus, leading to dehydration and ultimately death.
Method: Place small quantities of Snailkill baits (about 50–80 g per 100 sq. ft.) near crawling paths, plant bases, between rows of crops, or any other place where snails and slugs are a nuisance.
Timing: Apply in the evening when snails and slugs are most active.
Frequency: Depends on pest incidence or severity.
