Rallis Tata Metri is a selective systemic herbicide developed by Rallis India Ltd., a subsidiary of Tata Chemicals. It is formulated as Metribuzin 70% WP (Wettable Powder) and is effective against a broad spectrum of annual grasses and broadleaf weeds.
Availability: In Stock
Metribuzin is absorbed predominantly by the roots and also by the leaves, with translocation occurring in the xylem. It acts by inhibiting photosystem II during photosynthesis, disrupting electron transfer, which leads to the death of susceptible weeds.
Dosage:
Sugarcane: Pre-emergence (400–500 gm/acre), Post-emergence (300 gm/acre)
Potato & Tomato: 150 gm/acre
Wheat & Soybean: 100–120 gm/acre
Method of Application: Foliar spray on young, newly emerged weeds
Timing: Suitable for both pre- and post-emergence applications
