Dual Mode of Action: Incipio acts both by contact and ingestion, targeting the gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptor as an antagonist. This leads to paralysis and inactivity in target pests, effectively controlling them at all life stages—eggs, larvae, and adults.
Broad-Spectrum Control: Effective against a range of pests including stem borers, leaf folders, mites, earhead bugs, aphids, whiteflies, thrips, and mealybugs.
Rapid Uptake and Translocation: The formulation ensures quick absorption and movement within the plant, providing swift protection to new growth.
Extended Residual Activity: Offers up to 21 days of effectiveness under field conditions, reducing the need for frequent applications.
Rainfastness and UV Stability: Resistant to wash-off from rain and degradation by sunlight, ensuring consistent performance.
Low Resistance Risk: The novel mode of action minimizes the potential for cross-resistance with other insecticides.
Paddy (Rice): Controls stem borers and leaf folders.
Maize: Effective against fall armyworm and stem borers.
Vegetables and Fruits: Manages aphids, whiteflies, thrips, and mealybugs.
