UPL Sweep Power Herbicide is a broad-spectrum, non-selective, post-emergent herbicide formulated with Glufosinate Ammonium 13.5% SL. It is designed to effectively control a wide range of annual and perennial weeds, including both grassy and broadleaf species, in crops like cotton and tea. As a contact herbicide, it inhibits the enzyme glutamine synthetase, leading to the cessation of photosynthesis and eventual plant death. ​

Usage Guidelines

• Recommended Crops: Cotton, Tea

• Dosage:

  • Cotton: 1.0–1.2 liters per acre

  • Tea: 1.32 liters per acre

• Dilution: Mix the recommended dose with 200 liters of water per acre.

• Application Timing: Apply when weeds are actively growing and 4–6 inches tall.

• Method: Use a flat-fan or nozzle sprayer for uniform coverage.

• Rainfast Period: Ensure a minimum of 6 hours without rain post-application.​

 Precautions

• Avoid contact with desirable crops; use shielded spraying techniques if necessary.

• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during mixing and application.

• Do not apply near water bodies to prevent harm to aquatic organisms.
